Art
The school's visual arts program’s goal is to expose the students to a wide range of styles, time periods, and media through a variety of hands-on experiences in art class. All students in grades pre-k through 8th participate in art classes. Our students are encouraged to create works of art that challenge their creativity and apply the concepts that they have learned. Fine Arts experiences contribute to the developmental process, problem-solving, and creative learning by encouraging the student to relate visual knowledge to other core subjects, responding with originality, and imagination. Fine arts experiences also facilitate student appreciation and understanding of the art in the world around them.
