Math

Middle School students participate in the rigorous Archdiocesan curriculum, which prepares them for success in high school. A focus on problem-solving, computation, communicating effectively, and use of technology is incorporated into a curriculum that is organized around the categories of Numbers and Operations, Measurement, Geometry, Data Analysis and Probability, and Algebra.  Middle school students take 6th grade math, 7th grade math, and Pre-Algebra (in 8th grade). Students have the opportunity for placement in advanced courses (Pre-Algebra in seventh grade and Algebra I in eighth grade) by meeting Archdiocesan criteria.
