Home and School Association (HSA)

The HSA provides an opportunity for parents to be more closely involved in the educational endeavors of the school.

The objectives of the association are as follows:

1. To develop Catholic-Christian education and the welfare of all the children of Saint Joseph School.
2. To enhance the parents'/guardians' and teachers' roles in the education of the children.
3. To provide an opportunity for parents/guardians and teachers to work together, through mutual understanding for the good of the children.
4. To develop projects to support the following:
   1. promote the spiritual, academic, cultural, social and physical growth of the children
   2. assist in the improvement of the school facility
   3. support the purchase of items to enhance parent-school relations

HSA By-Laws

HSA meetings for 2007-2008 will be held at 6:00PM in the Parish Hall on September 24th , November 26th, February 25th and April 21st.

Parents assist in various areas throughout the school, such as:

• classroom aides
• lunchroom assistants
