Who Rocks the Castle?  The Knights rock the castle! Welcome to one of the best and most diverse cheer programs in the city!

At Saint Joseph Catholic School we sparkle with school spirit!  In addition to an outstanding sports program, we have an awesome cheerleading program for girls in third through eighth grades.

Third, fourth, and fifth grade girls may sign up to be Peppers.  These girls learn basic cheer moves and cheers from our faculty coaches.  They have first class uniforms, participate in all pep rallies, and cheer at three home basketball games every year.  They are involved in service projects, and they march in the Christmas parade.  The program starts after Labor Day and runs through March.

When girls reach sixth grade, they may try out for Middle School Cheerleading.  These sixth, seventh, and eighth grade girls attend summer camp to learn cheers and stunts from professional cheerleading instructors.  They do all the same things our Peppers do only much more!  They cheer at all basketball games.  Even though girls have to try out, we prepare them so well that we have never had to cut anyone!  This program runs from June through March.  Both programs focus on teaching responsibility and good sportsmanship.
