Beginning in pre-kindergarten and continuing through eighth grade, St. Joseph's students attend religion classes daily to increase the awareness and appreciation of God's presence in the daily life of our school. Students study the life of our Savior, the catechism, the content and arrangement of the Bible, as well as the history of the Church, building knowledge from one year to the next. Additionally, teachers integrate Catholic teachings into content area instruction to help students draw deeper meaning and understanding of their faith and the curriculum.
Teachers instill in our children sound Catholic teachings, as well as an experience of the Spirit, which will enable them to live what they have learned and reflect the Gospel of Jesus in their lives. We strive to create an environment within the school that reflects and deepens an awareness of our living Catholic faith. Our days begin and end with prayer, as do our classes and lunch. Jesus Christ is at the very center of a Catholic education and a beacon of light to every child who attends St. Joseph Catholic Parish School.
