2nd Grade Teacher

I’m a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and an ESOL endorsement (English to Speaker of Other Languages). I attended Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Atlanta and am excited to enter into the beauty of Catholic education once again! A wholistic education that attends to the mind, body, and soul is very important to me, and I am excited to be able to incorporate our Catholic faith into the education of these sweet second graders! I have taught Religious Education to second graders for 7 years and I love being a part of the First Communion process. I am thrilled to work with the parents and families of my 2nd graders as they prepare for their First Communion!

I enjoy spending my weekends hiking, backpacking, and adventuring around the mountains of Georgia and North Carolina! I love Athens and all it has to offer, from it’s music scene to all the yummy restaurants and coffee shops! The Botanical Gardens, North Campus, and Bear Hollow Zoo are some of my favorite places to explore. I love my Georgia Bulldogs and to talk all things Athens :)

I am excited to begin my journey teaching at St. Joseph’s as I become a part of this school and parish community! Go Knights and Go Dawgs!
