Mrs. Sarah Rodriguez
Middle School Math and Religion Teacher
I am an alumnus of the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. I received my Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics with an education option in 2007. I grew up in Catholic schools in Oklahoma and it has always been a personal wish to teach at one. I am thrilled to be taking up the position of Middle School Math and Religion teacher.
After graduating, I taught in Lawton, Oklahoma for three years. I taught 8th Pre-Algebra and Algebra I. I was also the MathCounts Coach/Sponsor and will be continuing that role here at SJS.
My husband was in the military for ten years, so we have lived in Oklahoma, Arizona, Texas, and Georgia. We are glad to have found a wonderful place to settle with our family. We have three children, Vanessa, Rebecca, and Johnathan. Rebecca and Vanessa started here at St. Joseph's last year, and I am extremely excited to join them. Johnathan will join us here in the future when he is old enough!
In my free time, I enjoy working in my garden, reading, or working on sewing or crochet projects for friends and family.
