Academic Team

Academic Team, also commonly referred to as Quiz Bowl, is a multi-subject team trivia competition.  Students compete as a team to answer questions that cover topics like literature, science, math, history, geography, current events, art, technology, and others.  Team members use a buzzer system (like Jeopardy) to answer questions and earn points for the team.

Our SJS Knights Academic Team competes in both GATA (Georgia Academic Team Association) and PAGE (Professional Association of Georgia Educators) meets.  Both sanctions are similar, with only minor differences in processes.

The 2022-2023 season was our first, and we had a great experience.  We are looking forward to an even better 2023-2024 season!
