Middle School students participate in the Archdiocesan curriculum that prepares them for success in high school. A focus on problem-solving, computation, communicating effectively, and use of technology is incorporated into a curriculum that is organized around the strands of Numbers and Operations, Measurement, Geometry, Data Analysis and Probability, and Algebra. Based on Archdiocesan standards, students are placed in Pre-Algebra for 7th grade and Algebra 1 in 8th grade. Middle school students also participate in four Catholic Math League contests during the school year. Students grades 7 and 8 may also participate in the MathCounts program.
